FEEDBACK RESULTS & FAREWELL

After a safe journey home, here are the results of the feedback that you gave us on the way back. Being 1 the lowest score and 10 the highest, these are the average marks that you gave to each section:

-Families: 8,66
-Lunches: 5,05
-Classes and teachers: 8,08
-Activities: 8,42
-Leaders: 8,85
-Free time: 8,87
-English learnt: 7,69

I hope Kate (I think that's the name of the chef) doesn't take it the wrong way; it's just that in Spain we are used to different lunches, with more food, more variety and different types of bread.
The rest of the sections have obtained very good scores. In fact, some of our students would have liked to stay a few more weeks, so congratulations to Devon School and the staff for making it happen.
See you next year (hopefully!)

DAY 13. SURFING AT NEWQUAY.

SATURDAY, 31st JULY. On our last day in England, we were given two choices:
-Surfing at Newquay.
-Shopping at Plymouth.
Most people chose surfing, and they had a lot of fun riding the waves. Here are some pictures to prove it:

How do they get home?

The waves were perfect for learning.

The teachers were quite friendly.

Pete, Tom and Martin, smiling as usual.

Group picture, together with our Italian friends.

DAY 12. DIPLOMAS & TEIGNMOUTH & DAWLISH

FRIDAY, 30th JUNE. Our last day at school.

After the morning lessons, Bret and Chris (the directors) gave out the diplomas and reports from the teachers.

Can you find yourself in these 3 collages?

In the afternoon we visited two small but beautiful villages, where we spent the little money we had left.

DAY 11. VICTORIA PARK YOUTH CLUB.

During the football match Pedro was injured on his toe.

Alicia was the only girl who dared to play football with the boys.

Míriam wanted to be a basketball player, with Pete's help it is easy.
Pedro was now better, with his "friend" close to him.

Ana Yessica had a style holding her raquet.

The new duo ABBA. What a pity you cannot listen to them singing.

No doubt, Adrian is the best guitar player in Devon.

We all had a very good evening sharing activities with some young English kids.

DAY 11. DARTMOUTH BY STEAM TRAIN.

They were late for their lessons, so they had to do social work again.

They were really good at collecting the rubbish from the ground with the help of their partners.

The steam train didn't have SEAT BELTS!

Everybody wants to be in the photos.

They loved the seats of the train.

The boat took us to Dartmouth in 5 minutes.

It was full of tourists who wanted to visit the beautiful city.

This is the steam train, surviving the years.

DAY 10. BOWLING BY BOAT

The low tide left the boats on the sand.

Waiting for our boat on the harbour.

We went on the small one.

Always tired, why can it be?

They are so happy because they are learning a lot.

The sea was perfect for sailing.

They loved their bowling shoes.

Looking for the right ball to throw.

They have found the perfect hobby.

Different bowling styles.

In the evening, barbacue at school.

DAY 9. DISCO

This is Martin's collage. Thanks a lot Martin!

Do you think they are enjoying themselves?

Míriam's first time in a disco. She was one of the best dancers.

They can dance any style of music.

They like being the stars.

Beautiful people having fun.

They know all the songs and the dancing.

Proffessional models.
